BEHAVIOUR MISCONDUCT POLICY

Some students are auditory learners, others are visual, and some are hands-on. It is also common for students to learn best with a combination of methods.

By understanding a student’s preferred learning style, studying is more effective and more information is retained and easily recalled.

Tips for the students:
1- Schedule your studies and breaks
2- Establish a comfortable place to study
3- Take notes in class
4- Be involved in class and ask your teacher questions
5- Ask for help when you struggle
6- Find one or two students in your class to study with
7- Structure information and don’t try to remember it
8- Don’t leave assignments until last minute

New research shows that a brief rest after learning something can help you remember it a week later. Other experiments have shown that a full night’s sleep helps you learn new skills or retain information.
