- Make a plan and be organized. Making a plan for what you’re going to do and when you’re going to do it will make sure you’re always ahead. Be organised and use your time wisely.
- Don’t overwhelm yourself with many tasks. Studies have shown that multitasking is physically impossible.
- Split it up. Splitting your work/study into small and manageable chunks and rewarding yourself when you finish each task will make studying with some fun.
- Sleep. Sleep is important for your body and brain. 8 hours is considered a good sleep time.
- Set a schedule/the to-do list. Create a schedule that works for you, and stick to it.
- Take notes and put reminders. Taking notes will keep you more engaged during class and use reminders e.g. exams dates, submission of assignments, etc..!
- Study. In other words, don’t waste your time.
- Organise your study space. Find a place that will maximize your productivity.
- Join a study group. If you are a person who likes to study with others, look for a study group who are really keen to study and progress in their life!
- Always ask questions. You’re here to learn, so don’t be shy or afraid to ask questions or request for help and assistance – from a teacher or your friends.
Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.
