New Era Institute assists all students in their efforts to complete their courses. In the event that you are experiencing any difficulties with your studies, initially please contact your trainer as the first line of support. If the matter requires more attention, then you contact student support and you will be referred to one of the management team to assess the nature of the underlying problem. Between you, the trainer, and the designated management team member, an appropriate action plan will be developed. 
At this point, an analysis of the nature of the problem will be undertaken to identify the key issue(s) such as language problems, cultural readjustment, time management problems, conceptual understanding or study approaches.
Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) and Digital – Support sessions are available by appointment
- Preparing a study plan
- Maintaining control over overstudy, work and home life to maximise study
- Note-taking in class and when reading the information
- Reading course notes and documents to determine the main idea
- Using appropriate reading strategies to access information
- Research for assessments
- Using the eLearning platform
